First 9 Weeks (First Semester)
What am I learning?
I am learning a lot in Spanish. I have learned many colors, words, how to introduce people, and many other Spanish phrases.
How do I learn?
I learn by worksheets that are assigned in class. The vocabulary note cards are VERY beneficial also.
Why am I learning?
I am learning Spanish because I want to be able to speak to Spanish-speaking people and maybe even travel to other countries.
Where am I in progress toward my goals?
I believe that I am moving in a very progressive pace. After this class, I should be able to speak fluently to Spanish-speaking people and read Spanish easily. This class moves in a pace that is helpful in learning new words and phrases.

Second 9 Weeks (First Semester)
What am I learning?
I have learned how to tell time, possess objects, order food at restaurants, and tell what I like and love in Spanish. I also have learned how to introduce and talk my family members to others. I can tell where I will be, at what time, and with who.
How do I learn?
Mrs. Jorge has been a great Spanish teacher. She works with you if you need help. They way she teaches helps me grasp the concept more because she shows us tricks of remembering it. The homework that she gives us really helps me when it comes to studying for a test. Also, the games we play help me a lot because I remember the words and phrases better.
Why am I learning?
I am learning Spanish because I want to be able to speak with people from different parts of the world. Also, there are many Spanish speakers in the United States, so for a job, I might need to be able to communicate with them.
Where am I in progress toward my goals?
I can talk to other Spanish speakers. A few days ago, I was eating at La Loma and I ordered my food in Spanish. The waiter told me I did really well. I can understand Spanish when I read it. I can read Spanish easier and actually understand it. I believe I am moving in a great pace toward my goals as a Spanish speaker.

How do I learn?
I learn by vocabulary cards and studying worksheets we've done. Reading helps me also because it broadens my vocabulary.
Why am I learning?
I am learning because I want to talk with Spanish speakers if I travel to other parts of the world. Also, I could translate for other people who don't know how to speak Spanish. It will be very helpful later in life.

I have came so far with Spanish. All I knew before I was enrolled in this class was a few numbers. Now I can actually hold a conversation in Spanish. I can talk in full sentences also. I believe I am in moving in a good pace toward my goal.

I am learning Spanish because I will be able to speak fluently with native speaker of Spanish. There are more and more Spanish speakers moving to America, so it will help me communicate with them if we share a job.
